ZIMS – Be part of it!   The Zoological Information Management System (ZIMS) Project cannot be completed without input from zoological experts. With our volunteers’ dedication, we are working together to build a global animal management system that will revolutionize the way we approach animal care.   During the initial phases of the project, the ZIMS Core Team recruited almost 500 members of the zoo and aquarium community, representing almost 200 organizations for the project to build ZIMS. Now, we are working with a select group of institutions and trainers to build the actual software program and prepare our members to use ZIMS.   You can help prepare for ZIMS by updating your data on the current ISIS systems.   In addition, while we have a good start on funding this project, we still have a long way to go. You can help by raising funds for the project.
